Our vision

A woman in workout clothes is performing a squat exercise while holding a kettlebell, under the supervision of a trainer in a gym with brick walls and fitness equipment.

At Pat McMenamin Personal Training, our small group sessions are designed to make fitness approachable, effective, and enjoyable. With so much conflicting information out there, it’s easy to feel unsure about how to train, but we keep it simple. Each workout is guided, structured, and tailored to your group’s goals, whether that’s building strength, improving mobility, boosting endurance, or just feeling better every day.

You’ll get the personal attention you need, the motivation of a team, and the accountability that keeps you showing up. Our goal is for you to leave every session feeling accomplished, confident, and excited for the next one. Whether you’re new to exercise or returning after some time away, you’ll find a supportive community ready to help you, not only reach, but surpass your goals.

  • What sets me apart from your average trainer is my passion.  I have a passion to help you.  I have been working out since I was 15 years old.  Having 15 years of experience, I have made countless mistakes along the way.  When I think of my clients, and I am developing a program for them, the things they struggle with whether that be an old injury, fat loss, muscle gain, having the confidence to exercise, etc. Their struggles are what fire up.  I aim to find solutions for them and guide them toward fitness and healthier lives.  I aspire to make this world a better place, and my gift is coaching people to be the most potent versions of themselves.  None of my clients get a cookie-cutter fitness plan, they all get a product delivered with much thought, care, and effort.  I have your best interest in mind for your longevity.  My experience at Cornell University has also shaped me into the trainer I am today.  The biggest tool I took from my experience at Cornell was working with clients with a busy schedule and helping them find the balance between their demanding academic schedule, relationships, family life, social life, fitness, etc.  I learned how to meet clients where they were and to create fitness plans that were effective, sustainable, delivered good results, and didn’t overwhelm people.

    • Traveling? We can work to keep you on track while you’re away

  • Many of my current and previous clients have been new to weight training, exercise, etc.  I can cater to your fitness and ability levels!  The key is to get started and stay consistent.  Lots of people hesitate because they might feel embarrassed or overwhelmed.  No one ever regrets starting their fitness journey.  I will walk you step by step through your goals.

  • This is very individualized and unique to each person.  After we have our initial discovery phone call and consultation I will have a better idea of where you are at, where you would like to be, and your schedule.  We will work together to find the most optimal approach for you!
